Chaparral Boats – Beautiful vessels with great functionality

Chaparral boatsThis year, when you think you think of replacing your aging speed boat, consider buying a model that will do everything you want without costing you as much as you think it will. Chaparral makes boats for small families and large groups, getting consumers out on the water safely and stylishly.

The first thing some consumers will notice is the colors available. While this has no bearing on technical specifications or performance, it is still nice to know that your vessel can look as good as it handles. There is a wide strip of color along the white body in shades such as dark blue, red or yellow. Consider it your aquatic racing strip.

Your racing strip is a fitting indication of what you can expect to achieve on the water. Tow a water skier, a wake boarder, or a crew of tubing enthusiasts from the back of your vessel at speeds which are sure to result in whooping and laughter, not to mention some envious looks from fellow boaters.

Hook up some rod holders and take yourself and a buddy on a fishing trip. There is plenty of room for all of your gear such as coolers, nets and tackle boxes as well as lunch, coffee thermoses and extra clothing. Choose a boat designed for fishing trips and have it fitted with a fish finder and GPS. That way, if a fishing pal gives you coordinates where he found a great supply of trout, you know where to go. The fish finder will confirm your suspicions or help you locate where the school has moved to.

Although your vessel is built for safety, with a radio and places to stow flares and life preservers, it is also comfortable. The windshield protects all passengers and the captain from seawater and wind as you zoom across a lake of your choosing. A canopy can be raised to protect against sunshine or rain. If your boat does not come with a canopy, this can be added at an extra cost.

Instead of just taking day trips, buy a boat with a cabin underneath and moor at a beach overnight. Laze on the sand and go hiking at places inaccessible by land, then return to your boat for a snack and a snooze. So long as there is somewhere to fill up along the way, there are no limits to the fun you can have.
